For the first time in Scorccio's history, a female rapper is signed to the label.

4 REEEL is actually Miss Da Mina from Brooklyn, New York, one of the highest rated new female rappers to recently emerge from the U.S.A.

Miss Da Mina chose the pseudonym 4 REEEL, because of the phrase "for real" - a catchphrase used by her cousin Ali G, who is a top TV star on Channel 4 in the UK.

4 REEEL began her career as a model, working for Elle, Vogue and recently Woman's Weekly and Angler's Times. She has won numerous fashion and photography awards, including 1999's highly acclaimed "Bazookas & Butt".

After discovering she had the right skills for the hip hop and dance scene, Miss Da Mina finally left the catwalk and photo lenses for the recording studio, and enlisted Mark Summers from Scorccio to produce her debut single. As Da Mina herself puts it; "Mark instantly saw my potential. He could see some big things were ahead of me, plus he discovered my many great assets. I love that Scorccio sound which is a superb combination of rap, disco and house".
